Management

The Holding company SUMI was incorporated to provide strategic direction to its subsidiaries involved in printing. Publishing, trading, power generation, information technology, venture capital, hospitality, security and real estate investment and management services. SUMI also funds the CSR services of the group carried out by the Thilanga Sumathipala Foundation and Milina Matha Foundation.
The directors and management team of the holding company as the major shareholder, works with the management and operations teams of the subsidiaries to ensure that the broad strategic vision of the group is achieved through the evaluation of achievements of key KPI’s agreed between the holding company and subsidiaries.
SUMI also provides shared services in the areas of finance, procurement, human resources, and Information technology areas.
